Popflake

Popflake is your go to app when you want to watch a movie. Whether you want to go to the cinema, stream a movie, rent or buy one. We provide an easy to use keyword search for you. Simply press the keywords that describe your mood, a country the movie should play in, a type of plot or a general movie type. A great example would be; horror + students + forest!

Every movie in our database is "hand-tagged". This is why the database contains not so many movies yet. If you love movies like we do, contact us via our Facebook page and we can set you up with an beta account and access to the online movie tagging platform!

Features or "How to use Popflake":
1) Click on a keyword that sounds compelling
2) Repeat step 1 until movies appear or you think the keywords describe what you want to watch
3) Click on a compelling movie cover
4) A movie details view appears which currently includes a movie rating (top right corner), a way to share that movie with friends (chat bubble in the middle of the screen under the movie title), the movie title, the year of the release, the movie age rating, ~8 actors and links to legally stream / buy the movie (via iTunes, Netflix..)
