Telle - just for girlfriends

Girl talk is like no other talk. Telle is an app for the kind of talk you’d have on a girls night out, or when staying home with your girlfriends (in yoga pants and a soft sweatshirt), a mug of frothy hot chocolate cupped in your hands, chattin’.

Having a strong connection with your girlfriends not only makes you feel like you can do anything, it also makes you live longer (says science).

But how to you maintain that know-everything- about-you connection when you can’t
hang out every day?

We interviewed over 130 women and asked them to dream up an app that would make them
feel like they can teleport their girlfriends whenever they wanted.

Telle is the result: the new way to have unfiltered and imperfect conversations with your
(girl)friends (aka the women you can be yourself with).

It’s a place where you can share your day, your obsessions (what you are into), learn what they are into, get honest advice, tell it like it is.

Be uncurated and imperfect.

Like you would be on a girls night out or when curling up on your sofa, sipping hot chocolate.

It’s pretty, private and personal.

SO private, you don’t need to fumble for the privacy settings (there’s only one setting - Private).

With Telle you can:

1. Tell it like it is - This is girlfriends only zone. It’s also super easy to choose which girlfriends see what you send every single time. Because your vegan girlfriends won’t be interested in that perfect chicken recipe you just discovered. …and only your college girlfriends would be
interested to know the Kevin and Susan are now an item.

2. Relax. Because you won’t get lost in an endless stream of messages relating to 5 different conversations. Telle has topics so you know what every comment is related to.

3. Relax some more.. because you won’t accidentally send a racy message about last night’s date to uncle Giles instead of sending it to “The Girls”

4. “Obsess”, i.e share things you are into, and see what your girlfriends are into. Case in point: the super soft jeans your friend Kate discovered (she said they make her butt look amazing), and the addictive book you stayed up until 3:24am to read.

Sharing knowledge is beautiful.

5. Get advice: use “This or That” to ask for your girlfriends opinions (which dress to wear or which sunglasses flatter you more, or which guy to swipe left, or right).

6. “Sparkle”. Telle has a “sparkledust” option for private messages. It makes messages go poof, so no one else will be able to ever read them. Your choice: turn it on only when you want to.

Because some things you want to disappear without a trace, and some you want to keep for a while.

7. Express your attitude. We have our very own chic, sassy and diverse stickers for all the
expressions you actually use with your girlfriends.

Because a sticker is worth a thousand smirks.

It’s an app that actually gets your vibe.

Telle (n) is actually a word. It means “A true friend” (in Urban Dictionary, I kid you not).

It's the only not-obscene definition on Urban Dictionary (as far as we've seen..)
