Learn mindfulness from the world’s foremost expert Jon Kabat-Zinn!

We are delighted to introduce the Jon Kabat-Zinn Meditations app (JKZ Meditations)! Millions of people have used these meditations to develop and sustain their own mindfulness practice, and benefit from its stress reducing, healing, and transformational potential.

We have consolidated Jon's three series of guided meditations on a single platform to support your ongoing practice. Please keep the app up to date to get access to new content.

We intend to keep the price of the app low to make it accessible to as many people as possible (US $ 3.50 per month or US $ 35.00 per year). That said, we recognize that some may not be in a position to afford it. If you cannot afford the app, you can request an App Store offer code by contacting us. We grant 100 % of these requests. While we operate a business, we don't think money should be the reason someone is unable to use the app and derive benefit from it. You can message us from inside the app, using the help menu option.

The meditations can be used independently, or in conjunction with specific books that Jon has written.

Coping with Stress (Series 1) – constitutes the core practice curriculum of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, USA. They can be used together with Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness (revised, 2013):
1. Body Scan Meditation (45 min)
2. Mindful Yoga 1 (45 min)
3. Sitting Meditation (40 min)
4. Mindful Yoga 2 (45 min)

Everyday Life Meditations (Series 2) – These meditations are meant to accompany Jon’s book, Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life:
1-3. Sitting Meditations (10, 20 and 30 min)
4-6. Lying Down Meditations (10, 20 and 30 min)
7. Mountain Meditation (20 min)
8. Lake Meditation (20 min)

Healing Yourself and the World (Series 3) – These meditations go with the book, Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness (2005):
1. Breathscape Meditation (20 min)
2. Bodyscape Meditation (20 min)
3. Breathscape and Bodyscape – More Silence (20 min)
4. Soundscape Meditation (27 min)
5. Mindscape Meditation (20 min)
6. Dying Before You Die (30 min)
7. Nowscape (Choiceless Awareness) Meditation (30 min)
8. Walking Meditation (10 min)
9. Heartscape (Lovingkindness) Meditation (47 min)
10. Lifescape (Everyday Life) Meditation (12 min)


About Jon Kabat-Zinn
Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. is internationally known for his work as a scientist, writer, and meditation teacher engaged in bringing mindfulness into the mainstream of medicine and society. He is Professor of Medicine emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he founded its world-renowned Stress Reduction Clinic (in 1979), and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society (in 1995).

Jon is the author of fourteen books published in over 45 languages. They include:
