Float breathing app takes the best part of breathwork out of the context of spirituality to improve your mental and physical fitness through personalized breathing exercises.
Float offers breathwork techniques with personalized exercises based on your max exhale test.
WHAT IS THE MAX EXHALE TEST?
Take out your stopwatch. Take 3 deep but relaxed breaths through your nose. On the last breath, inhale and fill your lungs all the way up, then exhale through your nose as slowly as you possibly can, for as long as you can. Once you start exhaling, start the stopwatch. Did you run out of breath in the first 30 seconds?
This simple max exhale test shows your carbon dioxide tolerance. In addition, your CO2 tolerance indicates how reactive you are to stress and anxiety.
Whether you're an athlete or an office worker, having a breath practice can be a powerful way to boost your health, performance, control your nervous system, manage anxiety. Practicing breathwork is scientifically proven to increase your physical and mental performance.
Float's mission is to elevate your mental fitness and to fulfill that we have built a mobile app with guided breathing exercises to keep you committed to practicing breathing techniques.
