A cool, unique view from space

Enjoy a fascinating view from space showing our planet Earth with its worldwide clouds systems. Explore Global-Local's spectacular meteorological snapshot. A world-wide cloud formation view is available that refreshes every three hours when enabled to get an idea of impending weather.

The information available when tapping a location bubble is a complete ten-day forecast that includes temperature, precipitation, cloud coverage, wind speed, air pressure, fog and humidity levels. Sunrise and sunset times are included as well. It also shows quick-look icons to make scrolling through the forecasts easier.

Celsius or Fahrenheit, inch or mm, knots or mph – it's your choice. The settings for Global-Local allow you to show the time in local time or UTC, the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, speed in mph, knots, meters per sec, or km per hr, height in feet or m, and rain in mm or inches. It also allows you to customize the interface by selecting the level of transparency for clouds and other related parameters.

You can navigate to all parts of the world, search for a city or an airport, zoom in on a specific region or use the magnifying feature enabled by touching the screen for two seconds.
