Giardino Villino Volterra in Ariccia

This app takes you on a tour of the 'Giardino' (Garden) which surrounds the Villino Volterra in Ariccia, near Rome, a garden created at the beginning of 20th century.

The statue that dominates the garden from above, known as "The Lady of the winds", introduces the history of the Villino and of the Park with its eight areas. The different but complementary areas in which it is divided, amplify the concept of space and make the garden look much larger than it is in reality.

Thanks to the interactive map and to the list of plant species connected to it, you will discover the common and scientific names of all the plants housed there. For sixty of them you will also find a detailed description which shows the main features and some interesting anecdotes.
