Practice your instrument flying skills with this handy IFR trainer for iPhone/iPod Touch!
With this app you can practice:
- INTERCEPTIONS: the calculation of interception headings to and from VORs. The exercises are randomly generated and will never go beyond a 90° intercept!
-HOLDINGS: Calculate randomly generated holding entries. The solution is displayed directly on the instrument, making it easy to visualize the actual holding. Includes calculation of first Heading for the entry.
- ANGLE OF LEAD: AoL calculations are also displayed right on the instrument in order to be visualized more easily.
- WIND CORRECTION ANGLE: WCA calculations are displayed with the respective interim solutions, making it easier to understand the calculated angle.
Detailed descriptions of the exercises are accessible directly within the app.
